Welcome to our tranquil haven nestled in the heart of a wildlife refuge. While still in development, our retreat promises serenity, with the possibility of occasional construction noise. The highlight is our breathtaking beach club – an oasis with a vast oceanfront pool and an exquisite restaurant serving delectable cuisine.
Immerse yourself in the unique charm of our dark-sand beach, celebrated for its surfing legacy in Costa Rica. The untamed beauty of the surroundings, coupled with the allure of the impressive beach club, creates an unforgettable experience. Embrace the rhythm of the waves, the richness of the wildlife refuge, and the thrill of surfing in this evolving coastal paradise.
● Access to the Beach Club is included in your reservation, you will have access with the affiliate card. In case of losing the card, it will have a cost of $50 per replacement.
● The pool is intended for visitors to the condominium, please respect the rules of the pool and follow them to avoid calls for attention from the condominium staff. Remember that they are for your safety and that of other guests.
● Due to condominium policies, it is NOT allowed to receive visitors from guests.
● It is prohibited to hang clothes, towels, and sheets that are visible from the pool area. This may incur a fine.
● Keep the volume of music or noise moderate after 10:00 pm.
● You should not smoke inside the house or the property since this is a smoke-free space. If you do, cleaning fees and other possible penalties will apply.
● Don't rearrange our furniture.
● Parties and events are not allowed by Airbnb and the owner.
● We love pets and we love hosting them, but we also love our home and like to keep it in excellent condition for our guests, so bringing pets is at our discretion.
● Pets are not allowed to sleep on the beds or the sofa.
● All guests must be identified and it's not allowed to exceed the maximum capacity of 8 people in the house.
● Only pre-registered people are allowed to enter before check-in, visits are not allowed during the stay.
● It is only possible to register the number of people specified in the reservation.
● Drug use: If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, they will be reported to the authorities and asked to please leave the property at that time.
● Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community, not a hotel, and it is also a private family home, please respect the property and keep it clean before you leave

March 2025Overall, the condominium is nice; however, there were some things we didn’t like about our place: the rooftop terrace is just an empty space made of concrete. The common area inside the house is very small—just a tiny kitchen with a countertop that doesn’t even have enough space for people’s legs when they sit. To have a bit more comfort, you have to use the outdoor table, but it gets extremely hot there. Be aware that the building pictures are showing 2 different apartments as they are townhouses. In general, the outdoor areas look a bit old, and the backyard lawn didn’t seem inviting for the kids to play because it wasn’t mowed. Our host, Gustavo, was the best part—he responded very quickly, was very kind, and found a solution when we had a small flooding issue in the downstairs bathroom and kitchen sink. We give him a 100%, the place a 75%, and the beach club pool and the beach area another 100%.

February 2025La atención de Gustavo fué muy buena, el club de playa y la proximidad a la playa son geniales. Pero la casa no nos gustó. De la descripción del lugar en el anuncio, yo difiero que sean convenientemente ubicadas las dos habitaciones de la segunda planta con una entrada aparte. Es mas, no es para nada conveniente, en la noche para bajar a la sala los zancudos te pican, si esta lloviendo te mojas por que no hay techo en las escaleras y la iluminación es deficiente. Yo fui con adultos mayores y un bebe, y no es para nada conveniente esa distribución, al igual que el jacuzzi que tienen por ducha en el bano del segundo piso, no es apto para un anciano.

January 2025Una casa en un lugar hermoso, el beach club y el condominio muy tranquilo y con excelentes amenidades; el área de la piscina realmente buena. Condominio con muy buena ubicación (cerca de restaurantes) y la casa a pocos pasos de la playa. Fácil check in y check out y la comunicación con Gustavo muy positiva y fluida. Importante tomar en cuenta que hay sapos en las zonas verdes del condominio en caso de que vayan a llevar perritos

August 2024This place is beautiful and we’re so happy to have found it. The gated community is secure and constantly monitored. There are beautiful views from the roof. The beach club access makes it even more worthwhile. The pool is cleaned every morning and the bar side restaurant food is delicious. The managers are friendly and the service was great. Highly recommend for families!

May 2024Our stay here was awesome! Hermosa Palms is wonderful and we will definitely be back. The beach club is great, the pool is warm and clean and the food at Yoyo’s bar is delicious! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The listing is as advertised and the host was extremely responsive.
